The third film, Volume lll - The Architecture of the Earth opens with construction of the Tent, a structural design made with their developed concrete canvas, in their backyard lab in Galicia. Their journey of constantly searching for new earthy materials and new discovery which began early on in the quarry in Galicia led them into acquiring an abandoned quarry in Menorca, Spain over a decade and half later. They called it Can Terra (the house of the earth). By transforming this quarry to its original form when it was in use over a century before, not just to become a habitable place for them but an inspiring laboratory to explore and push the boundaries of their discoveries and designs further.
In the coda of this volume, Music of Can Terra, the great violinist, Hilary Hahn, who not just describes the effect and inspiration of Can Terra on her music but also performs one of the six partitas composed by Antรณn Garcรญa-Abril (the composer), entitled Immensity, inside Can Terra.
