The Olivier Music Barn, 3:00 PM
Program
Montana Shakespeare in the Schools, an educational program of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, returns with a free live performance of Richard III, presented at 3:00 PM in the Olivier Music Barn. Directed by Riley O’Toole, the production is especially geared toward middle and high school students, aiming to inspire conversations around the implications of Richard’s manipulative tactics, his use of violence in his rise to power, and the historical context in which Shakespeare’s play was written.
Tippet Rise will be open from 12:00 PM (noon) until after the performance, for guests of this event only. We invite you to explore the Cottonwood Campus before or after the concert, which features two miles of gentle trails and the opportunity to experience several large-scale artworks installed within the landscape.
While there is no food service at the art center on October 18, guests of this event are welcome to bring a picnic lunch, drinks, and snacks to enjoy inside Will’s Shed, or outdoors among the artworks.
